2014/10/14 - New countries added to our coverage list
New countries added to our DID/Origination coverage list:
Jamaica, Honduras, El Salvador, Grenada, Uruguay, Cayman Islands, Trinidad/Tobago and Puerto Rico.
2014/07/18 - New colocation
Equipment is now online in our new South African point of presence. This will provide low latency services for customers located in Angola, Namibia and South Africa.
2014/07/15 - Hosted PBX launch
This has been a secret (in beta) long enough!! We are now launching our Hosted PBX services. This service will be provided free of charge for our customers for the first year of usage.

Our DID/origination coverage list now has 60 countries.
2014/01/01 - API launch
We have launched our API services, providing customers with programatic access to our current DID coverage. (40 countries at this time. Keep close for new updates!)

2013/12/10 - New countries added to our coverage list
New countries have been added to our DID coverage list:
Denmark , Sweden, Norway, Poland, Lithuania, Letonia, Iceland, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Ireland
We are now counting 40 countries offered in our DID/origination service.
2013/10/22 - Website updates
We are now providing a self-care control panel for our customers. This allows them to perform actions such as basic account management, DID management, authorizing new IP addresses, viewing CDRs, etc).
2013/07/10 - New countries added to our coverage list
New countries are now available in our coverage for DID customers:
Russia, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Switzerland and Austria
2013/05/01 - New colocation
Our equipment in the Houston, Texas colocation is now online. This will provide us with additional geographically separated redundancy options.
2013/04/10 - New countries added to our coverage list
We are now providing our DID customers with coverage in 6 new countries: China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, and Namibia.
2013/01/01 - Website launch
Today marks the launch of our first commercial/presentation website under the "www.multitel.net" domain name.
For the future: we are tirelessly working on adding some of the softswitch functionality to the website.
2012/07/12 - Rugby, United Kingdom new colocation
Our equipment in the Rugby, UK teleport colocation is now online. This should provide us with better access to our customers in Angola and South Africa through the SAT-3/WASC fiber. Additional coverage available for our African based customers via satellite C, KU and KA bands.
2012/03/31 - New countries added to our coverage list , plus new colocation
This has been an exciting and eventful month. We have added new countries to our coverage list - Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala and Chile.
We are also adding new equipment to a second colocation within Michigan. This will provide us redundancy and a failover solution for our first colocation.
2012/02/13 - E911 enablement
We are now offering E911 services to our US/CA based customers.
2011/10/25 - SS7 interconnects in Angola
Through our local customer and partner in Luanda, Angola, we have deployed our SS7 call routing solution and softswitch. Successful interconnections with Angola Telecom, Movicel and Unitel.
We are now able to offer Angolan DID numbers as well.
2011/05/12 - SS7 / Cisco based call solution launch
We have launched our own management software for SS7/Cisco based CUBE solutions. This solution (along with the SS7 interconnects we have completed earlier this year) allow us to provide DIDs from within US at a lower cost for our customers, while also providing better audio quality.
2011/02/23 - First SS7 interconnects
We are building our first SS7 interconnects (momentarily on a Cisco solution) - more updates on this soon.
2011/01/10 - Deploying new equipment in colocation
Colocation space contracted with a local datacenter - new equipment to be installed during January and February.
2010/10/20 - MultiTEL is incorporated within US
October 2010, MultiTEL is incorporated within US. This allows us to target reach local US customers and diversify our offering.
2010/05/12 - New features added to softswitch
Added fax autodetect, fax2email, web2fax and the telemarketing filtering feature (oh, you'll like this one).
