MultiTEL supports emergency calling for eligible services in the United States, Canada and the European countries listed below. Emergency calling must be provisioned, approved and active for your number and service address before you rely on it.
911/E911 is available for eligible numbers and registered addresses. The emergency registration workflow supports MultiTEL inventory numbers and eligible bring-your-own numbers.
North American provisioning and verification guide110/112 and country-specific emergency calling is available on eligible local or national numbers. The international number must already belong to your MultiTEL account. Identity, address and country-specific requirements are checked during registration.

110 is country-specific. In Germany it reaches police; in Norway it reaches the fire service. Norway uses 112 for police and 113 for ambulance. Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia have the separate local numbers shown below.

Use the emergency numbers and routing instructions confirmed for your activated service. Dial the applicable short number without an international country prefix. This overview does not list every national emergency number.

Select an eligible number and provide the actual end user’s identity and valid service address.
Complete country-specific requirements and any document or address verification.
Wait for the registration to become active, then configure the approved calling route and caller number.
Keep the registered address current and follow the documented non-emergency verification procedure.
Do not place a test call to a live emergency number. Use only the verification procedure provided for your service; the North American test process must not be assumed to apply in Europe.
Power, internet connectivity, equipment configuration and an accurate registered address affect internet-based emergency calling. Calls can fail or be delayed when a service is inactive, an address is incorrect or the calling setup changes. Review the registered-location, nomadic-use and service limitations before activation.
European pricing and minimum terms depend on the country and number type. Review the account quote before registering; the North American E911 price is not a Europe-wide rate.
