Media Files*

Media File

Media Files Media files are audio messages played to the user. From music on hold, welcome messages, to directions to get the user through the menu options and ect. To add a new Media file, you would click the blue button in the upper right hand corner titled “New Media File”


Defining media files:

Name – the name of this media file

Description- used to

Record dialing an extension or a number – media files can be recorded by dialing an internal extension (which has to be an extension already created at the time of the recording) or by calling an external number (for example your cellphone). You can also choose to block the CallerId on the outbound call. We can choose to record the files as wav or as SlN. SLN format is recommended.

Upload recording – media files can also be uploaded to the server via the web interface. System will attempt to convert your file to the best format it can. You can also choose to have it converted to SLN or to leave it as is. Automatic conversion is recommended.
